What I do INSTEAD of posting on this Blog

#1. I listen to people who produce content that is valuable to my personal and professional life. I do this while I walk in the outdoors.

Here's a list of podcasts that I listen to on a very regular basis.

THE LIBERATED BODY

Best podcast for anyone working in the field of somatic anything. Brooke Thomas offers body nerdery at it's very best that truly does help me more happily inhabit my body. (And every episode includes the very best introductory music riff IMHO and a leading quote from that day's guest!)

HEALTHY, WEALTHY and SMART

Dr. Karen Litzy features top experts in health, wellness and business with a particular focus on physical therapy. Love her style and I was so delighted to know she attended Marie Forleo's B-School! Another person I listen to regularly with great pleasure. (With MarieTV was MarieRADIO so I didn't have to be in front of a screen for the content. Although looking at her wardrobe is worth it. Especially since Gossip Girl and Sex & the City are finished.)

INSIGHTS AT THE EDGE

Tami Simon's in-depth audio podcast interviews with leading spiritual teachers and luminaries.

THERAPY INSIDERS

Hosts with lots of letters after their names (e.g. highly educated) aim to gain insider input and perspective that gets to the core of what is useful in the clinical setting. And since I tend toward the more psycho-spiritual perspective on the human condition, it's nice toggle between that and more modern, Western perspective. Thanks, guys!

YOGA AND BEYOND

"There's a lot of misinformation out there in the yoga world (and fitness world) and Ariana Rabinovitch's goal is to cut through that to provide more science based, less hyped up info." according to the producer's description. All I can say is, Hallelujah! I never delved too deep into the yoga world for that very reason. Nice to know it's changing for the better.

PHYSIO EDGE

Giving credit, where credit is due: Australia's culture is more body-conscious and the first episode of Physio Edge was in 2011. Relatively speaking, that means it started long before all of the others listed.

KATY SAYS

I so appreciate Katy Bowman. Her willingness to share knowledge and the generosity with which she provides it is such a gift! Thank you for keeping it REAL. And SMART.
